Stories of a 3-day visit to Fort Kochi, Ernakulam, and Allepey.
Alappuzha is a town known for its serene backwaters, tranquil houseboats and pleasant climate. The place is actually a spot where canals, rivers, and lakes are interconnected.
Let me share the story!
On the last day morning, we started at 9 am from Ernakulam and the drive was really good. We were mesmerised by the natural beauty of Kerala on the highway roads. We got down at times and took pictures from the bridges admiring the scenery.
2 hours of travel and we reached Alleppey. The Shikara was ready and we opted for 2 hours ride. The skipper made us drive the boat and clicked pictures and also shooted videos. In the two-hour drive, he showed us the lake, river and the canals as well.
In the middle, he stopped for eagle-watching. The eagle was giving poses to every tourist who visited. It sat on me humbly. I told the angle and frame and my colleague made no mistake in clicking the below picture.
Next, we went for lunch, and visited the beach for the breeze, and on the way saw FAFA’s house and also the lighthouse of Alleppey.
Don’t miss the town view of Alleppey! The lighthouse is the perfect spot for that. Thanks to Thajudeen Aboobaker for introducing a new friend named Siraj and Siraj to introduce Nobin Francis.
The Allepey tour was good. It seems Siraj Bro is doing tours & package services across Kerala and also asked me to refer people.
I would sincerely say the drive to Alleppey and the Shikara booking was good from Siraj bro. Attaching his contact number, you can refer to my name and get the package details for any place in Kerala.
