What do I need to do to become a Data Analyst?
1. Step 1
Master your SQL skills

2. Step 2
Learn Visualisation
I would suggest you to learn any one visualisation tool like Power Bi, Tableau, etc.
My preference is Power BI

3. Step 3
Learn Statistics and Probability
4. Step 4
Learn Excel
5. Step 5
Learn Programming either Python or R programming. Once you are confident in statistics, then jump to learn Data Science
I would prefer Python.
6. Step 6
Have an idea about Linear Programming
7. Step 7
You need to learn ML but as technology is getting advanced do learn AI as well as a part of the curriculum.
8. Step 8
You may need the help of Linear Algebra based on your project to solve data science challenges.
First two skills alone, I would suggest doing a certification as it is primary for a Data Analyst. Other stuff you can improve by learning from YouTube
