Mentor-Mentee is an unsung relationship. The best mentor I ever had from August 2022 — August 2023. The name is Manimaran V.
I never had such a great mentor before nor now.
What are the takeaways? That makes me feel like the best mentor I ever had.
1. He connected regularly to keep track of my skills.
2. If I had issues with the stream of work, Mani spoke to the Project Manager to make me work in a line that I would like to skill up.
3. Always listens to both sides of the conversation i.e. from my end as well as the Track Lead’s side.
4. There was a time when I came to the bench due to a lack of projects in the organisation. Mani always motivated and pushed my profile to his best. During the bench period, I utilised time properly with Cloud certification, Redis, etc.
5. All these certifications, as I completed, I kept sending Mani in emails. He kept pushing all this in the staffing team.
6. The support and encouragement play a crucial role as a mentor.
The snap attached at the bottom, he is not my mentor currently but still stands for me. I actually wish to have him back as my mentor😅. There was a huge understanding.
