Today we will see about Power BI.
Power BI is a business intelligence and data visualisation tool that allows users to connect various data sources, transform data, model, create dashboards and get insights from data. With this, we get data-driven decisions.
On the home tab, click the get data option. Various sources of data are accepted namely Excel, databases, etc.
Open the power query editor to clean and transform your data. You can filter, sort, reshape and clean your data.
Modelling here is we need to create relationships between tables.
To create visualisations, click on data and choose the report option. Drag and drop the fields to generate the insights through charts. Customise your visualisations by adjusting settings like colours, titles, etc.
You can enhance the report by adding slicers, filters, etc. This way, users explore the data dynamically.
Make all individual reports organised in a single dashboard. This way we can have quick insights.
Now you can publish to Microsoft Cloud. You can share and collaborate on your work with colleagues.
