In the heart of every Indian citizen lies our National Anthem with pride and patriotism. It has resonated through the ages and connects the soil with our soul.
When the sun rises on 26th January, it not only illuminates the sky but also the collective spirits of a billion souls. Our nation is known for its languages, different cultures, etc. India is the best example of the term “Unity in Diversity”.
When the national flag is hoisted every Indian recollects the echoes of sacrifice, struggle, and a million emotions start flowing in his blood. Patriotism is not a fleeting emotion but a commitment that stays with us for our entire lives. We cannot forget our Father of the Indian Constitution Dr. B. R. Ambedkar for writing the Indian Constitution.
The Republic Day parade makes us realise the soldiers' effort to save our borders and citizens from enemies. From the shackles of colonialism to a sovereign republic marks the struggle of our forefathers. Gandhi’s call for non-violence and Nehru’s vision of a modern, progressive India have become guiding lights, illuminating our path toward a brighter future.
The tricolour on Republic Day embodies the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and many more that unite us also treat us equally. The Ashoka Chakra, with its 24 spokes, reminds us of the constant need for change and progress, echoing the words of our first Prime Minister, “A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new.”
Republic Day is not only about sentiments but also our responsibility to nurture democratic values. With hearts full of pride and minds dedicated to progress, let us march forward, united, into a future that reflects the true spirit of our Republic.
