Hello, connections!
Greetings!
Many of them have a doubt about how to build a proper precise resume for an experienced profile.
I’ll give an outline; I hope this will help you.
Have a profile picture to the right side top corner and have your name in bold at the centre. Left most corner provide the contact details like email ID, Phone No, LinkedIn URL, Address(just mention city/village, country), and GitHub(if any).
— All these below headings on the left side —
Now, have a heading called “SUMMARY” in the capital letters. Here, give a brief about yourself like years of experience, tools specialised, etc.
Now, mention your skills with “SKILLS” as heading. Group the tools under each stream like programming languages, DataWarehousing tools, etc.
For example,
DataWarehousing Tools: Snowflake
Programming Languages: C, Python
So, on.
Now, just mention “PROJECTS” as your heading. Mention the latest companies you have worked under in bold letters; in brackets mention the time period you have been there.
For example,
XYZ Company (2007- 2015)
Use adjectives for proficiency for example Built, Developed, etc.
Make sure with 3–5 lines you cover the work you did for the project. It should be an overview. If the interviewer has questions that time you can explain it completely.
Use bullet points for each project.
Finally,
“EDUCATION” as the heading tell the degree under the college with the passing out year.
For example,
Bachelor’s of Engineering(EEE), ABC Engineering College, Chennai, India — 2000
That’s all you can complete this within 2 pages with all needs that an ATS would prefer for the provided job description.
