Hello folks! Feeling stressed? Pressure from all sides? Need to relax? Then you are in the right place! Here are some ways to make you feel stress-free and relaxed!

What is stress?

Any physical or emotional tension that makes you feel angry, frustrated, or nervous comes under stress.

How do I know I’m under stress?

Physically if you face frequent headaches, chest pains, or upset stomach you are under stress.

Psychological or emotional reactions such as anxiety, depression, anger, irritation are also a form of stress.

Types of stress

Acute stress is something that exists for a short period of time. Events like you are late to office, exam pressure, etc. will never affect your health, and hope to stay a positive sign!

Chronic stress is the dangerous one as it happens when you lose your job, the need for money, conflicts in relationships, and a lot more. This affects your health when you fail to cope up or accept the challenges in life!

How does my health get affected?

Continuous work without relaxation makes you a victim of stress. Your nervous system gets affected badly as your tension builds! Your fight response gets activated which tears on both mentally and physically.

This situation further develops to distress which affects your internal balance of the body leading to symptoms like headaches, chest pain, lack of sleep, etc.

Emotional symptoms like attacks, anxiety, depression, etc. are also dangerous! Nowadays, stress has turned to a killing disease-causing cancer, heart problems, suicide, and so on.

Trauma

People are experiencing trauma due to events like war, robbery, disaster, etc. This has become a disorder in today’s world as a survey report says any veteran or survivor becomes a victim here!

Alright, how do I relieve myself from stress?

1. A long breath

Always take deep breaths slowly, this clears your mind as well as oxygenates the blood. This is also a mindful meditation. Have a count interval of 5–10 seconds.

2. A walk

A walk may relieve your stress! Have a walk at your terrace or nearby parks to keep yourself brisk! This may improve your mood.

3. A nap

Just close your eyes and sleep for a while as this reduces cortisol levels. It is one of the best stress reliefs.

4. Massage

To relax your tight muscles and lower your stress massage is one of the best options to prefer as it enhances circulation.

5. Have a call

Talk to a trusted person and share your feelings! Have a conference call and speak to each other. Loneliness is also a reason for people to remain under stress!

6. Music

Listen to songs that really motivate you or keep you away from stress. A good vibe can change your day!

7. Acupuncture

Want to feel calm and relaxed? Then go for acupuncture which helps you to relieve combat stress.

8. Classes

Gym, yoga, dancing, or aerobics joining any one of them helps you to stay away from stress. A calm mind is eventually observed.

9. Laugh out loud

Laughing is the most stress relieving element as your stress-causing hormones decrease eventually. Any comedy show or YouTube videos may help out.

10. Food

Have a good diet and plenty of water to reduce the aggression of anger. Dehydration and hunger are left apart due to the stress of the work concentrated.

What I should never do?

  • Never invest yourself in drugs or alcohol assuming stress relief. This increases the risk of your health further.
  • Stop imagining things that don’t happen if it is meant to happen. A positive mind is the best solution here.
  • Don’t commit or make decisions when you are not clear. People tend to use this situation as yours!
  • Be careful with your words and actions as it may spoil your reputation. Stay calm! Shout out in your lonely room but not in a crowd!

Alright, now it’s time for you to relieve your stress. Anything that makes you feel calm is a form of stress relief!
